A fire protection curtain which provides the best levels of protections for fire and irradiance to property and personnel. It is designed to provide safe passage next to the curtain (for corridor and escape routes) and protection for close contact. Complete with smoke seals as standard to provide 120 minutes of smoke protection. Standards: Fire integrity – E: 120 minutes.Irradiance – W: 120 minutes.Insulating Zone – IZ: 120 minutes (measured from 50 mm from face of specimen).When tested to EN 1634-1. Box:

The fire curtain assembly comprises a box housing which includes the motorized barrel and wrapped curtain. The box is attached to channel section guides at each end – these guides are the main fixing point for the entire system.

Curtain:

The curtain is manufactured from a woven fibreglass and stainless steel fabric; in many cases this is coated with intumescent silicone.

100 x 50 mm galvanized steel.

Head box:

Galvanized steel: Up to 4 m high: 210 x 240 mm.

Bottom rail:

Industry-standard ‘bell’ formed from galvanized steel.
