A 60-minute fire protection curtain, which can be linked to the building's emergency fire protection systems to prevent the spread of fire by containment. Its specially coated glass fibre curtain protects against hot air transfer and protects main escape routes. The unit can be installed in widths up to 20 000 mm and heights up to 6000 mm.Standards: Fire integrity – E60: 60 minutes.BS 476-22:1987, BS 476-20:1987, BS EN 12101 Annex B, EN 13501-2:2007+A1:2009.Box:The fire curtain assembly comprises a box housing which includes the motorized barrel and wrapped curtain. The box is attached to channel section guides at each end – these guides are the main fixing point for the entire system. Curtain:The curtain is manufactured from a woven fibreglass and stainless steel fabric; in many cases this is coated with intumescent silicone.Guide rails:100 x 50 mm galvanized steel.Head box:Material: Galvanized steel.Up to 4 m high: 180 x 180 mm.
