The Rolegard Industrial Steel Shutter is a power operated single-skinned steel shutter consisting of concave, solid or perforated profiles. It offers good security, wind resistance or ventilation qualities and improved visual contact. The product is specifically designed for low to medium vehicle flow solutions.The doors comply with BS EN 12604 and BS EN 12453.Drive:Electric with a 'direct drive' motor system c/w an 'integral safety bearing' system. Mounted external to the shutter barrel assembly and head box (where applicable) are c/w electro-mechanical distance limitswitches and emergency manual hand chain override system, operable from ground level.Features:Manufactured from traditional 75 mm interlocking concave lath curtain (gauged according to size), galvanized steel bottom rail, side guides, mild steel primed endplates and barrel assembly. On large doors, wind endlocks are fitted to prevent excessive deflection and curtain retention.Frame/ Guides: 2.6–3 mm thick galvanized steel side guides, complete with articulated windlock.6–10 mm thick mild steel BZP steel end plate anchor brackets.Size:Maximum 48 m². Note larger areas can be supplied for internal applications where security and wind resistance levels can be agreed.Width (maximum): 8000 mm.Height (maximum): 7000 mm.Shutter curtain:The thickness of the main curtain lath sections varies to suit the shutter size and also project specificwind resistance requirements. Optional perforated lath profile (6500 mm maximum shutter width), canbe supplied for ventilation (up to 23% maximum air flow), or through-vision requirements.Finish:The main exposed metal work structure and optional casings are mainly galvanized self finish asstandard, but optional polyester powder coat finish can be supplied to the whole or part of the doorassemblies and the main curtain lath profiles and optional head casings can also be supplied with arange of HP200 Plastisol finishes to the external face.
