Mineral based waterproofing product, used for the protection of structures against ground dampness, pressing water and non-pressing water. Can be applied to waterproof concrete and as a remedial waterproof coating.A dry, grey cementitious powder mortar that can be used with the following components to create three different end products:Powder and water creates a firm mineral sealant silt.Powder and CEMdicht flex creates a flexible sealant slurry.Powder and CEMdicht flex+ creates a flexible and crystalline sealant slurry.By adding the liquid component CEMdicht flex, the mineral sealant silt will become so flexible that it can be applied to highly stressed, crack prone underground areas. The liquid component CEMdicht flex+ has crystalline characteristics, allowing the structure to self-heal shrinkage cracks. The product holds the General Building Code Test Certificate (abP).Features and benefits:Comes in ready to use 30 kg bags.Application can be by brushing, trowelling or spraying. Can be applied directly on to reinforced concrete (to DIN 1045), well pointed masonry (to DIN 1053), and cement plaster and render (to DIN 18550).Suitable as waterproofing coating for underground screeds, plasters of the mortar groups PI, PII and PIII, as well as for tiles and slabs.Applications: Typical application fields include waterproofing of concrete: Vertical waterproofing of earth touching constructions.Exterior and interior walls.Slabs and foundations. Vertical waterproofing of splash water areas at wall bases. Cross section of walls and slabs.Water tanks. During construction work.Colour:Grey.Coverage (dry mortar):For ground dampness and non-pressure water flow: Approximately 4 kg/m² (2 mm layer thickness). For pressure water flow: Approximately 7 kg/m² (4 mm layer thickness).Application temperature:Above 5°C.

Mineral based waterproofing product, used for the protection of structures against ground dampness, pressing water and non-pressing water. Can be applied to waterproof concrete and as a remedial waterproof coating.

A dry, grey cementitious powder mortar that can be used with the following components to create three different end products:

  • Powder and water creates a firm mineral sealant silt.
  • Powder and CEMdicht flex creates a flexible sealant slurry.
  • Powder and CEMdicht flex+ creates a flexible and crystalline sealant slurry.

By adding the liquid component CEMdicht flex, the mineral sealant silt will become so flexible that it can be applied to highly stressed, crack prone underground areas. The liquid component CEMdicht flex+ has crystalline characteristics, allowing the structure to self-heal shrinkage cracks.

The product holds the General Building Code Test Certificate (abP).

Features and benefits:

  • Comes in ready to use 30 kg bags.
  • Application can be by brushing, trowelling or spraying.
  • Can be applied directly on to reinforced concrete (to DIN 1045), well pointed masonry (to DIN 1053), and cement plaster and render (to DIN 18550).
  • Suitable as waterproofing coating for underground screeds, plasters of the mortar groups PI, PII and PIII, as well as for tiles and slabs.

Crystalline waterproofing slurry for concrete substrates. The slurry becomes part of the concrete, creating a waterproof layer inside the concrete, making it strong against negative water pressure. It also creates a reactive layer inside the concrete, allowing the structure to self-heal shrinkage cracks under contact with water. Can be applied by brush, dry-shake or spray equipment.Features and benefits:Economic and easy to apply.Rapid curing, eliminating the need for days of water curing and protection time.Self-healing properties of up to 0.4 mm static cracks.Open to foot traffic after four hours.Extreme adhesive strength.Shrinkage compensated – no spider-web cracking.Resistance against aggressive media with a pH range of 3–12, and against soft water with low iron content.Weathering and sulfate resistant.Potable water approved.Applications:Waterproofing of basements, below-grade parking structures, potable water structures, sewage structures, and tunnels and pipelines.Protection of dams and spill-ways.Slab waterproofing (dry-shake application).Elevator pits.Technical characteristics:Appearance: Grey powder.Curing time: 3–4 hours water curing required in hot weather or very dry temperatures.Density: 1.2 kg/L.Substrate temperature: 5–35°C.Water permeability (to EN 12390-8): 13 bar (positive and negative).Flexural strength: 1 MPa (after four hours); 4 MPa (after 24 hours); 5 MPa (after seven days); 7 MPa (after 28 days).Compressive strength: 8 MPa (after four hours); 21 MPa (after 24 hours); 35 MPa (after seven days); 51 MPa (after 28 days).Chloride ions: <0.05%.Carbonation resistance: Pass.Capillary water absorption: 0.4 kg/m² x h ^0,5.Adhesive strength: 2.8 MPa.Restrained shrinkage: 2.8 MPa.Fire rating (to EN 13501-1): Class A1.
