View larger image of RFT50 High Performance Resilient Tape from Custom Audio Designs LtdAcoustic Tape High Performance RFT50

NE360RT RFT50 Resilient Tape is an acoustic isolation strip used for reducing sound transfer by isolating partitioning or party walls in all forms of construction where there is any point of contact.Manufactured from an open cell natural rubber with excellent loading and recovery properties, it is mainly used as a superior material for fixing to joist tops before floating tongue and grooved floorboards or particleboard. It is also ideal for installation at the bottom of wooden battens/ joists for DIY-resilient batten applications.A predominantly polyester weave adds strength to the polymer base and is a stronger, tougher, durable material. The micro-fibre mesh offers an excellent surface for the application of adhesive. Features and benefits:CFC and HFC-free.Recyclable.Applications:Stud work isolation.Batten and joist isolation.New build and refurbishment.Technical characteristics:Colour: Black.Polymer: Natural rubber with micro-fibre surface.Compression deflection: – at 25%: Medium, 5–10 PSI.Compression set (50% deflection at 70˚C): 15% (maximum).Temperature range: -40˚C to +80˚C.Density (average): 390 kg/m³ ±10%Tensile strength: 280 kPa.Elongation 250%.
